2001 Land Rover Defender 110 High Capacity

For sale is this stunning, near immaculate, Land Rover Defender 110 High Capacity TD5 Urban Pickup Truck.  First registered in 2001, the donor vehicle was a well-cared for standard Defender 110 Utility High Capacity that had been meticulously maintained throughout its lifetime by previous owners.  Over the last six months, the vehicle has undergone a comprehensive programme of mechanical and cosmetic restoration and enhancement, that has turned into the stunning vehicle that you see in front of you today.  From the outset, the original chassis was cleaned, shot blasted, and where required, comprehensive welding was carried out to ensure structural integrity. It was then treated with anti-rust paint before coats of Dinitrol were applied, future proofing the underside of the vehicle for years to come.  The body panels were stripped, sanded, and where required repaired. New doors were sourced, two coats of primer were applied before the bodywork was professionally refinished in Nardo Grey with gloss black accents. Gloss black grill and vents, 16-inch wolf wheels shod with INSA Turbo Mud Tyres, wing mirrors, side steps, mudflaps, and fuel filler cap, help to enhance the rugged military utilitarian appearance.  Smoked LED Lights were fitted throughout, DRLs are embedded within the lightweight Bowler style bumper, and an LED Lightbar was fitted on the new SP 4×4 roof.  The interior benefits from a complete Alcantara style re-trim to match the BBS racing bucket seats and the custom chubby box. New aluminium steering wheel, vent levers, gear knobs, dash surrounds and grab handles were fitted, so too was a premium quality Exmoor Trim carpet set and replacement door cards. Sound proofing matting has been fitted throughout and in the rear a pair of 3 seat benches were fitted with lap belts bolted through the subframe to enable safe and secure transportation of passengers.  The rear frame was supplied by bespoke metal work fabrication company ‘Purely Metal’ and the brand-new black canvas Exmoor Trim hood finishes the vehicle off perfectly.  The bulletproof TD5 engine underwent a full inspection and comprehensive overhaul, and where required, parts were replaced with the highest quality products.  It is important to note that this vehicle is US exportable both by virtue of its age, it’s original engine and original chassis, making it a sought-after classic both in the UK, Europe, and North America.
