History:: The story of this Camper van is illustrated in a seven page spread in Ultra VW magazine where is was described thus 'Europe's most stylish camper conversion'. It is an original RHD transporter converted by Canterbury Pitt into a motorcaravan. More recently it has been thoroughly restored from the ground up and treated to a complete re-modelling and upgrading programme totting up to nearly £70,000. We have a stack of invoices from the early period including the sales invoice from 1964 and a huge file from the restoration. The interior trim was done by Bernard Newbury with woodwork by Simon Weitz of Interior Motive. The finest materials were used throughout. It is fitted with DVD, Sat. Nav, reversing camera, disappearing television screen, television, mains hook up, leisure battery, battery monotoring and 240v inverter.Not to mention uprated engine, independant rear suspension, period Westfalia trailer to carry awning, cooking gear, etc etc. The list goes on and you really need to come here and have a look.
