History: The Sprint was the final development of the (proper) Elan family. Tweaks to the performance and spec. makes this model probably the most sought after. We have the original invoice for this car from 1972. The first owner kept it in excellent order until 1995. The second owner gave it a light refurbishment. He had the opportunity of meeting one of the Elan designers, Ron Hickman, who advised on panel fit. The resultant door gaps are the best we have seen on an Elan. During the restoration the car was taken back to the chassis which was found to be in excellent order. It was, however,stripped, treated and repainted and the suspension and running gear was powder coated. The car was carefully re-assembled and professionally repainted in its original colours of Lagoon Blue over white. It has black interior and hood.
